Having recently been given a raft of mental health diagnoses, a mother of 3 young children was referred to me as she was in the depths of mental/emotional crisis. Feeling utterly suffocated, years of deeply ingrained identities had begun collapsing and as is common, expending enormous amounts of energy grasping for control.

Over several months we explored each difficulty while going deeper in the understanding of the one who’s perceiving and investigating the “sufferer.” Such an exploration requires an openness, and like many, this also started with her complementing our sessions with conventional therapy.
