Look within—to the knowing of your own direct experience

Know Thyself

Leeza Edwards is a teacher of self-awareness and inner stillness, rooted in the direct path tradition of non-duality. Raised near Atlanta, Georgia and now based in Washington State, she brings a presence that is both deeply grounded and spacious—supporting others in meeting themselves beyond the stories of lack, separation, or becoming.

As the founder of Embodied Peace, Leeza offers guidance, retreats, organizational consulting, public engagements and trainings that support the unfolding of peace as a living, embodied reality. Her teaching invites a clear and intimate recognition of what’s always here: the undivided, aware being beneath all experience.

Currently at work on a series of books exploring self-awareness and embodied peace, Leeza (nicknamed “Shanthi”) also envisions the creation of a school and youth-centered nonprofit dedicated to deep self-exploration, relational healing, and nurturing a sense of belonging. At the heart of this vision is an annual Youth Peace Summit—a space for young people to gather, explore inner awareness, and cultivate the seeds of real peace from within.

Leeza brings this work into community spaces, organizations, and institutions—bridging inner inquiry with cultural change, and honoring peace not as an ideal to reach, but as a reality to live.

Peace has been my constant companion for many so called years.

Expressed in another way--thought, perception and sensation abides in imperturbable peace, appearing in time as me.

“An apparent growing dilemma so many face is the seeming difficulty in holding to the truth of ones experience by giving into the internal and external narratives and dramas. This results in increased confusion and feelings of being lost and overwhelmed. Here, in the midst of such intimate pain, lay the reminder that you are the awareness which precedes the dilemma.” — Leeza Edwards
